How much does it cost to rent a scooter in Chiang Mai?
Our scooters start at ฿350/day for the Honda Click 125 and go up to ฿1,300/day for the flagship Honda ADV 350. Longer rentals get automatic discounts — weekly rentals are 15% off and monthly rentals 25% off.
Is it cheaper to rent weekly or monthly?
Yes — the longer you ride, the less you pay per day: 1–6 days is the standard rate, 7–27 days is 15% off, and 28+ days is 25% off. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. Delivery and pickup anywhere in Chiang Mai city are free, and 2 quality helmets and a wireless charging phone holder are always included. You only pay the rental price plus any optional extras you choose (All-Risk insurance, top box) — and a refundable deposit at handover.
How much is the deposit?
2,000 THB for most scooters, or 5,000 THB for the Honda ADV 350 — payable by cash, card or PromptPay at handover, and refunded in full when you return the scooter in good condition. We never keep your passport.
How much does All-Risk insurance cost?
From ฿120/day depending on the model, with the same weekly and monthly discounts as the rental itself. It caps your total liability for damage or theft at your deposit amount. The exact price for your scooter and dates is shown at checkout.
How much is a top box?
฿60/day, available on the Honda PCX 160, ADV 160 and ADV 350 — and just like the scooters, it gets cheaper on weekly and monthly rentals. Perfect for a daypack, groceries or a second helmet.
